
Lauren VanDenburg is a civil litigator who handles a broad range of business litigation and trial work for both plaintiffs and defendants. Lauren represents a diverse range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, startups, national corporations and Fortune 500 companies.
Lauren’s representations involve a comprehensive range of issues arising from commercial contracts, warranty and products liability, insurance, premises and transportation liability, partnership and joint venture disputes, real estate litigation, business torts, unfair competition and employment law. Lauren has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediation and trial.
Lauren started her legal career as a certified law clerk for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. During her time at the DA’s office, she regularly appeared in court to argue preliminary hearings and discovery motions. Lauren has been with our firm since 2013 and became partner in 2021.
Lauren attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. While at Hastings, she served as Senior Production Editor for the Hastings Law Journal and was a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing & Research and Moot Court. Prior to law school, she attended the University of California, Davis. At U.C. Davis, Lauren served as the finance president for her sorority and earned degrees in Economics and Political Science.
