
Jack L. Henningsen has been litigating cases in the California state and federal courts since 1998. After practicing in large law firms for the first ten years of his career, Mr. Henningsen joined the Firm in 2008. Jack prides himself on providing his clients with the excellent quality of legal representation associated with a large law firm, coupled with the personalized attention and reasonable billing rates of a small law firm.
Mr. Henningsen represents a wide variety of clients from large, multi-national corporations to individuals. His practice areas include business litigation, partnership and corporate litigation, employment litigation, securities litigation, homeowners’ association disputes, premises liability litigation, and real estate and real property litigation.
Mr. Henningsen has first chair jury trial experience where he has achieved successful outcomes in many cases. Mr. Henningsen also has extensive experience in arbitrations, where he has also achieved several very successful outcomes on behalf of his clients.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Henningsen often counsels clients in negotiating business transactions and helps them draft business agreements. Using his unique perspective as a litigator, Mr. Henningsen is often able to help clients avoid pitfalls and the possibility of future litigation by identifying and correcting problematic and poorly drafted contractual language at the outset.
Mr. Henningsen obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Michigan, with honors, and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was a member of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
In his spare time, Mr. Henningsen enjoys watching sports of all kinds, traveling, playing racquetball, and spending time with his family.
